NEWSWEEK: DEERFIELD BEACH LANDMARK ONE OF AMERICA’S GREAT HIDEAWAYS
Newsweek magazine just came out with a list of the ten best great American Hideways you’ve never heard of. The Deerfield Beach luxury hotel, Royal Blues Hotel, made the top ten. You can read the complete list here.
The Royal Blues Hotel opened about five years ago and only has dozen or so rooms and suites for guests. According to the hotel’s website, “The Royal Blues Hotel is a boutique, luxury art hotel located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. The property is an oceanfront escape where guests can experience the authentic adventure of Florida’s Gold Coast, an area steeped in rich cultural history that boasts white sand beaches, a fishing pier and world-class diving.”
It is also home to the upscale Chanson restaurant. The website describes it as follows. “Chanson’s interior design is striking. Tables are nestled next to expansive windows with a panoramic view of the ocean. A 1,500-gallon saltwater aquarium customized for the space cascades above diners in the ceiling. Combined with sophisticated, modern design, the Chanson dining room is an ethereal, chic and intimate space. The menu is ever-evolving, subtly shifting with the seasons to provide new, original culinary experiences with the freshest seafood and finest organic ingredients. In the style of “Cuisine du Monde”, the menu takes a modern twist on worldly classics.”
