While the most expensive house in any of the four cities was just under $12,000,000.  There are SIX houses in Hillsboro Beach that are currently on the market for more than that.  The most expensive is listed at $29,500,000. It’s been on the market for almost two years and Zillow estimates its value to be just over $17 million.  So, if you are a good negotiator, you might be able to shave off a few million one the price.

The house includes property on both sides of A1A so you’ll both intracoastal access for your boat (yacht) and ocean access for swimming and gazing.  It is a “New” Museum Modern Ocean designed by modernist architect George Brewer.  And, it is actually two homes.  The main house on the ocean side of A1A.  And a separate Intracoastal guest house, which “features two bedroom suites, three waterfront lanais, two bay garage and resort style pool/patio with summer kitchen.” according to the Realtor.com listing.

The 12,813 sqft home has 7 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.  These may be a pain to clean but they’ll come in handy if you have a lot of grandchildren visiting.

In case you are trying to figure out if you can swing it, Zillow estimates the monthly costs to be around $150,000, based on Principal & interest$110,774/month, Property taxes$29,254/month and Home insurance$10,325/month.

And, in case you want to know a little more about the home before you open up your check book, it comes with a beautifully landscaped yard and infinity pool and of course amazing ocean views.
