[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]POMPANO BEACH REAL ESTATE:  What does the most expensive house in Pompano Beach cost?  Well, based on the current MLS listings, the price tag is….  $11,995,000.   But, we are sure there’s at least some room for negotiation.

So, what does $11,995,000 get you these days?

Of course you get an incredible oceanfront property with a close-up view of the Hillsboro Lighthouse.

The home, in the exclusive Bay Drive neighborhood is situated on over a 1/2 acre oceanfront lot.  It’s a 3 level estate with a private elevator.  You’ll get a “magnificent” ocean Hillsboro Inlet and lighthouse views from all main rooms. According to the MLS listing, the “manicured backyard feels like a five star resort complete with putting green and tropical palms enhanc[ing the] beachfront locale.”  Built in 2004. the estate has 7 962 square feet of air conditioned living space [and] has been recently renovated with brand new roof and interior designer finishes. You’ll also get a private 7 seat home theater & game room and a gym. The oversized pool comes with a swim up bar water slide and hot tub. In addition to the five ensuite bedrooms, there is a “richly appointed” office and a four car garage.

The house may be slightly overpriced as Zillow estimates the value at $9,860,201. They also estimate your monthly payment would be $61,984.  Property taxes would run you $134,116 a year.  The house was last sold in 2018 for $5,250,000.  If you would prefer to rent instead of buy, the home was recently also listed for rent at only $30,000 per month.

Of course, a home of this magnitude needs a name.  And it does have one, “19 Palms”.  Of course, once you move in and are settled, we’re sure you can name it anything you’d like.
