Lately, it’s been hard to keep up with all of the new restaurants opening in the Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point area. Here are a few of the most recent restaurant openings that we thought you would like to know about.
Ocean Grill, Deerfield Beach, Mediterranean/Japanese Restaurant
Located on A1A in the strip of stores under the parking garage, this new casual spot has been receiving excellent reviews on social media. They offer an incredibly eclectic menu which includes a plethora of Mediterranean dishes, some American and Mexican items, a Japanese menu which features a wide assortment of fresh sushi and even a large smoothie menu. They’re open for lunch, dinner and late nights. 123 NE 20th Ave., Deerfield Beach.
Ma-Now Asian Express, Pompano Beach, Asian Restaurant
This looks to be a sort of one stop restaurant for many types of Asian foods including Chinese, Japanese including sushi and Thai. They offer a wide variety of seafood and salads. The restaurant is located in the little shopping center just south of the Hillsboro Inlet Bridge. They are open for dinner seven nights a week and for lunch every day except Monday. 2608 N Ocean Blvd., suite 5, Pompano Beach.
Carmela Coffee Company, Pompano Beach, Coffee Shop/Restaurant
This family run business has had a Parkland location for a while now and recently opened their second shop in Pompano Beach. In addition to their custom brewed coffees, espressos and other beverages, the Carmela Coffee Company also offers a small menu of soups, salads, Panini’s, avocado toast and more. Their social media reviews are excellent, ranging from 4.5 to 5 stars. The Pompano Beach coffee shop and restaurant is open 8am-5pm seven days a week 1182 S Powerline Rd., Pompano Beach.
Bohio Latin Flavors 2, Pompano Beach, Latin American Restaurant
Another local Broward County restaurant that recently opened a new location. Based out of Margate, their new Pompano Beach restaurant features Dominican and Latin American dishes. Their menu includes many fish specialties, chicken, beef and non-meat dishes with different Latin flavorings. They open early (10am) and stay open late seven days a week (especially on the weekends). 900 E Atlantic Blvd., Ste 9, Pompano Beach.
