JULY 19 – Summer Movie Nights at the Pompano Citi Centre

The Pompano Citi Centre will host multiple free movie nights this summer. The next will be on Friday, July 19. The film will be “Incredibles 2.” On Friday, August 16, the film will be “How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World.” 
Free popcorn will be provided and other drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. Families are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
The first 100 children to check in at the Pompano Citi Centre table will receive a goody bag and complimentary face painting. Seating is limited, so please come early to make sure you and your family can enjoy the show.
WHEN: July 19 and August 16 at 5:30 pm.
WHERE: Space C104 in Pompano Citi Centre, 1955 North Federal Highway
COST: Free

JULY 19 – Pompano Food Truck Roundup 

Every third Friday of the month the Pompano Food Truck Roundup features over 15 food trucks, drinks, music and fun. Bring blankets and folding chairs.
WHEN: Third Fridays (July 19) from 6 to 10pm. 
WHERE: Old Town Pompano at First Ave. and First Street (near the corner of Dixie Highway and Atlantic Boulevard).
COST: Free. Food and beverage available for purchase.

JULY 19 – The Great Pizza Contest, a Family-Friendly Show

Storyologists Page and Kenny transport the entire audience to the town of Mozzarella via their Once Upon a Time Machine. There, everyone helps solve the very cheesy problem of who makes the best pizza …Vincent Van Dough or Leonardo Da Munchi? 
WHEN: July 19 at 7pm 
WHERE: Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd
COST: $10 adults; $8 Pompano Beach residents; $5 youth


July 19 – The Magnificent Circus Mystery Magic Show

A steamer trunk, a mysterious book and a hat belonging to Harry Houdini begin a show filled with magic, juggling, unicycling and physical comedy. The audience must solve clues, overcome obstacles and figure out a 90-year-old secret as they help to create the story from beginning to end. 
When: July 19 at 1pm 
Where: Pompano Beach Cultural Center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Cost: $10 adults; $8 Pompano Beach residents; $5 youth


JULY 21 – Hillsboro Lighthouse Tour

This is a rare opportunity to tour the Hillsboro Lighthouse. You and your guests will be transported by boat from the Sands Harbor Resort & Marina (125 N. Riverside Dr.) to the picturesque lighthouse where you’ll tour the grounds, climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse and learn about this landmark’s history. The boat leaves the Sands dock to the lighthouse at each sail time (listed below). The return boat leaves the lighthouse dock to the Sands Marina approximately 30 minutes later (for an approximate one hour round trip tour). Please arrive at the Sands Harbor Marina 10-20 minutes before your departure time.
WHEN: July 21. Boats depart at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30.
WHERE: Boats leave from the Sands Harbor Resort & Marina at 125 N. Riverside Dr. in Pompano Beach
