The seaweed on the beach was in full force throughout the day and that kept daytime crowds on the beach and in the water a bit lower than usual.  That didn’t stop people from turning out thought and by nightfall the beach was packed for the annual 4th of July Pompano Beach Fireworks event display.

There were lots of fun things to do in Pompano Beach and throughout Northeast Broward including fireworks events in Deerfield Beach and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

Some folks had to work though, including the construction folks crew working hard to get the Oceanic Restaurant in Pompano Beach ready for its projected early August grand opening.

The photo gallery below has pictures of Pompano Beach by day and at night featuring the Pompano Beach Fireworks display.
