The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) has just launched a new website and marketing campaign, called “Love Always, Pompano Beach,” to support local businesses in the East CRA District. The annual program will feature businesses offering special promotions to attract residents and visitors.

The initiative kicked off this month with Sunset Sips, showcasing special deals from local restaurants. Two other categories – Shop Pompano and Play Pompano – will be getting underway in the coming days.

“We are excited to be launching this campaign,” said Nguyen Tran, Pompano Beach CRA Director. “The East CRA District has an outstanding array of restaurants, shops and attractions that will offer a variety of enticing specials.”

Tran said that, during COVID-19, it is more important than ever “to help promote our local businesses and raise awareness about all that Pompano Beach has to offer.”

Sunset Sips, which runs through Dec. 31, features drink and dining specials, food pairings and tasting menus available Monday through Thursday, 3-8pm. Participants in the campaign include Oceanic, Beach House Pompano and Lucky Fish Beach Bar & Grill.

Shop Pompano will start on Nov. 28 – designated Small Business Saturday – to kick off the holiday shopping season. Running through Jan. 15, Shop Pompano includes discounts, gift with purchase offerings and loyalty cards from local retailers.

Play Pompano, which runs Dec. 1 through Jan. 31, features businesses offering special promotions on activities, experiences and attractions that encourage residents and nonresidents to play and spend time in Pompano Beach.

As part of the new marketing campaign, when visitors and locals spend $75 or more at any of the participating businesses, they can bring their receipts to the Pompano Beach Visitor Center to get a “Love Always, Pompano Beach” limited edition tote bag, while supplies last. The $75 does not have to be spent at just one business – it could be a meal purchased at one location, and a product purchased somewhere else – and the purchases don’t have to be made on the same day.

The “Love Always, Pompano Beach” campaign will offer an ever-evolving array of offers from local businesses throughout the year. For more details, visit lovealwayspompano.com.
