The International Society for Autism understands the importance of continued autism research, advocacy, education, and treatment-focused outreach programs — some of which offer need-based assistance to people with autism who would be unable to afford the high cost of treatment otherwise.
Based in Deerfield Beach, the ISA seeks to understand the variety of ways autism affects a person’s life, no matter where along the potential spectrum a person’s issues may fall, and to add to quality of life.
The ISA also hosts conferences with an aim toward increasing public awareness and sharing new research and information with the community.
The International Society for Autism, partnered collectively with Robert Schleser, Ph.D., and graduate students from the Illinois Institute of Technology, works to evaluate through evidence-based research the efficacy of various Coordinated Multidisciplinary Treatment models for young adults living with Autism, such as Direction Therapy (DT).
Erica French is the Executive Director of the ISA.
