The Deerfield Beach Historical Society was founded in 1973 with the mission of inspiring community awareness of, and appreciation for, the diverse groups of people, places, and events that contribute to Deerfield Beach’s evolving history.
Complimentary guided tours are available at the Butler House every Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, as well as by appointment.
After your tour, visit the Alice B at Pioneer Grove gift shop for Deerfield Beach souvenirs.
The last Sunday of each month–“Sundays at the Butler House”–features special events like Farmer’s Markets, Yard Sales, and more, held under an iconic 100-year-old Banyan Tree.
Volunteer and Membership opportunities are also available.
