Deerfield Beach Spouts Market Highlights

The Deerfield Beach Sprouts Market offers the company’s newest operational and design enhancements to promote customer engagement throughout the store. In addition to a large selection of fresh produce at the center of the store that Sprouts is known for, the more than 27,000-square-foot store will feature special display cases at the Butcher Shop and Fish Market, where knowledgeable in-house butchers can assist with custom cuts, handcraft sausages and offer meat and seafood seasoning. The Market Corner Deli in the store will feature a detached, rectangular island to optimize customer service and convenience with offerings such as made-to-order sandwiches, a salad bar, prepared foods, sushi made in-store and fresh juice. Sprouts’  Bulk Department offers a large selection of items, including loose teas and coffee beans, freshly-ground nut butters, local honey and staples like nuts, grains and trail mixes all sold by the pound.

Local Selection and Zero Waste

According to a company press release, “Sprouts has been a driving force for making healthy food affordable and accessible since its inception and has paved the way for numerous natural brands. The Deerfield Beach store will offer locally made products from brands such as Bee-Haven Honey, Old Florida Gourmet, Terrapin Ridge Farms and Wildflower Granola”.

As part of Sprouts’ commitment to “zero waste,” the new store will donate unsold and edible groceries to Feeding South Florida through the grocer’s Food Rescue  program. In 2018, Sprouts stores and distribution centers donated 27 million pounds of product, equivalent to 23 million meals. Food that is not fit for donation is provided to local cattle farms and composting facilities. Sprouts’ evolving “zero waste” initiatives help minimize food waste while reducing the impact of hunger and the company’s environmental footprint.

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. touts their “fresh, natural and organic products at prices that appeal to everyday grocery shoppers. Based on the belief that healthy food should be affordable, Sprouts’ welcoming environment and knowledgeable team members continue to drive its growth. Sprouts offers a complete shopping experience that includes an array of fresh produce in the heart of the store, a deli with prepared entrees and side dishes, The Butcher Shop and The Fish Market at Sprouts, an expansive vitamins and supplements department and more. Headquartered in Phoenix, Ariz., Sprouts employs more than 30,000 team members and operates more than 325 stores in 21 states from coast to coast.”
