[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]DEERFIELD BEACH COASTAL CLEANUP: The City of Deerfield Beach will be hosting the Annual International Coastal Cleanup on September 21, 2019, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Volunteers will gather in Deerfield Beach at the chickee hut across from the Fire Station at 71 SE 21 Ave. between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM for check-in.  The first 100 participants will receive parking passes that will last for the duration of the event. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles, gloves, and buckets, however, these materials and water will be provided. Reduce your waste and make this a successful event!

To register for this year’s Deerfield Beach Coastal Cleanup event, email coastalcleanup@broward.org. Please include your name, contact information, organization, the site at which you wish to participate and the number of attendees.

Want to make it a great beach day? After the cleanup, join the City for Jr. Anglers Day, a fun-filled fishing event with clinics, goodie bait buckets, arts & crafts and more! Children who participate in the cleanup first will receive a ticket that can be exchanged for some cool DFB swag at the event. Jr. Anglers Day will take place on Saturday at the Deerfield Beach Pier from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Limited spots available, register here.

Let’s gather as a community and make this the biggest coastal cleanup yet!
