[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]May 14 – Concept to Creation Workshop at BaCA

Are you creative but not sure where to start? Are you lost for new ideas or stuck in a rut? Are you intimidated by the blank canvas or page? Concept to Creation is a multiple session workshop taught by one of BaCA’s Artist in Residence, Andrea Huffman, to assist artists with tapping deeply into their creativity. Each week creative exercises — such as concept mapping, examining personal histories or collage work — provide the means for participants to discover their unique artistic style, personal symbols and imagery. Students will work in a sketchbook along with other media of the student’s choosing. This class is geared toward teen and adult artists of all levels, working in any medium.

When: There will be five, two-hour sessions. The next sessions are May 14 and May 28 from 6 to 8pm.

Where: Bailey Contemporary Arts, 41 NE First St., Pompano Beach

Cost: $30. For more information, call 954-284-0141.
