[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We’ve got exclusive pictures showing you the proposed changes to Pompano Beach Amphitheater.  The changes would be stunning. Photos of the new design will blow you away.

Pompano Beach spokesperson Sandra King tells us, “the top canopy over the existing stage area isn’t funded, yet.”  She believes the project should be completed in about a year.  The theater should not need to be closed for any length of time, as it is believed construction can be performed around scheduled events.

The Amphitheater has been one of the fun things to do in Pompano Beach for decades. A recent lower level renovation and an increased emphasis on booking events into the venue has brought the theater back to life after a decade or so of being dormant.

Upcoming events at the Amphitheater include:

Tue, Jun 4
Fri, Jun 7
Slightly Stoopid with Tribal Seeds, Matisyahu & HIRIE.
According to Stub Hub’s website, “Each year, Pompano Beach Amphitheater brings in many of the top musical acts on the planet to perform on its stage and people from all over come to one of the country’s finest outdoor venues to catch thrilling performances. World class acts including Weezer, Panic at the Disco, The UB40, Ziggy Marley, Ted Nugent, Peter Gabriel, and several others have delivered incredible performances at Pompano Beach Amphitheater. In addition to individual concerts, the venue also has been home to major music festivals, which are always major attractions and allow fans the opportunity to see several of their favorite acts performing on the same stage on the same day.”
This story was prepared by our Pompano Beach news desk with additional  event info provided by the city of Pompano Beach, their websites, and additional venue websites.
