Video: latest Pompano Beach construction

If you live in the Pompano Beach area, you’ve seen the incredible amount of construction and development in the beachfront area over the past few years.

The Pompano Beach House opened almost exactly one year ago to large crowds and mostly positive reviews.  It has become a true destination spot for tourists and residents throughout the county.

The restaurant located right next door, Oceanic is getting closer to completion after some delays.  They are projecting a late spring/early summer opening.  A few months back our very own Danielle Charbonneau shared a great overview and renderings of what you can expect from the next new restaurant in Pompano Beach and the video above will show you where construction stands today.

The video also shows the limited progress being made on the outdoor beach level bar/club that will be located at the foot of the pier, next to Oceanic.

And speaking of the pier, the new Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, city officials are saying May or June is the target for the completion of the project, but the outdoor bar is at the entry to the pier and that needs to be done for people to get onto the pier.  The city and developers are committed to making sure it is open for the big annual 4th of July fireworks show planned for the location.  The video also shows how nicely that construction project is moving along.
