The third annual Ocean Brews & Blues festival is this Saturday, May 18 in Deerfield Beach. This craft brew festival allows festival-goers to sample an assortment of 125 beers from some of America’s best craft breweries while listening to a variety of live blues music entertainers by the beach. Along with the great brews and blues, there will be an assortment of local foods, cold beverages, kids activities and artisan vendors.

When: May 18. General admission access from 4 to 8pm; VIP access from 3 to 8pm.

Where: Main Deerfield Beach Parking Lot, 149 SE 21st Ave., Deerfield Beach

Cost: Free to attend the festival, but beer tasting tickets and food are for sale. General admission for beer tasting is $40 and includes four hours (4pm to 8pm) of unlimited sampling of over 100 beers and a souvenir glass. VIP beer tasting admission is $60 and includes five hours of unlimited sampling of over 100 beers, a souvenir glass, special VOP swag bag and a covered tent area with food samples provided by Legends sports bar and grill and other soon TBD local restaurants. The number of participating breweries has increased from about 10 last year to close to 40 this year.  There will be over 100 different beers available to sample.  The Breweries include:

Food will be served up from Legends Tavern & Grille, Viva Tokyo, Monkeilicious food truck, Earl’s Slow and Low BBQ, Hot Dog Hound, TJ’s Treats, Dune Buggy Dogs and Golden Treats

Parking and Complimentary Shuttle Information

Parking on the barrier island will be limited throughout the event. Complimentary parking will be available at the Cove Shopping Center on E. Hillsboro Blvd. Attendees can take the short walk across the bridge to the event or can hop on the complimentary shuttle. The shuttle service will operate continuously from 2:30pm – 9:00pm.
