Getting Cool in the Windy City                    Chicago Revisited

Dancin' to the beat!

The Exchange Club of Pompano Beach recently held its 55th Annual 150 Dinner and Auction at the LHP Yacht and Racquet Club. The theme for the evening was “Chicago Gangster” and most of the 180 people who attended the event chose to dress the part. Guests enjoyed Chicago style food (Hot Dogs, Roast Beef and Pizza) and entertainment provided by the famous Blue Brothers Tribute Band. Jake and Elwood put on a great show and had everyone dancing all evening. The event also included a live auction with vacation homes, fishing trips, a “Day with the Sherriff” and many other exciting items. Overall the event raised $21,500, all of which will be donated to local charities.

The Exchange Club of Pompano Beach, a volunteer service organization, has been serving the local community for 55 years. As part of a national organization, the Exchange Club focuses on Child Abuse Prevention, Americanism, Community Service and Youth programs.
